About

About Cherokee Corner

Founded by Taylor McDonald, a Cherokee Nation citizen and TERO artist, Cherokee Corner was created to help preserve and celebrate Cherokee language and culture. As a mother, Taylor was inspired to start this venture when she noticed how few Cherokee language resources were available — especially hands-on tools like puzzles, games, and home decor.

Cherokee Corner offers engaging, beautifully crafted products designed for learners of all ages, making it easier to bring the Cherokee language into everyday life. Through toys, puzzles, games, and household goods, Taylor hopes to foster connection, learning, and pride in Cherokee heritage.

What are your products made of?

Our puzzles are crafted from premium basswood in varying thicknesses and painted with non-toxic paints for safe, vibrant colors. We also work with magnets, rock coasters, and acrylic to create unique items. Every piece is cut with precision using a laser wood cutter, then hand-painted and finished—one at a time—for quality you can see and feel.

Each of our items is handcrafted with care, making them truly one-of-a-kind. Because of this, we’re unable to offer returns or refunds. If there’s ever an issue with your order, please reach out—we want you to be happy with your purchase.
